Readingmate Home School is a highly interactive and immersive Reading and English language learning application co-developed with Dr. Susan Homan - professor Emerita of University of South Florida - a very well published and a respected thinker in the field of Reading and Early Childhood literacy.
ReadingMate Home School consists of 60 newly created books together with high quality engaging illustrations. The books concentrate on real life situations, such as family, community activities, work activities, sports activities etc. - we are real believers in developing the skills of ‘learning to read ‘ and ‘reading to learning’.
For each book in ReadingMate Home School, we have designed 3 lessons to help children to learn “phonics”, “sight words and key words” and “reading comprehension and reading skills”. The application follows a systematic, step by step learning path which has clear individualised learning plans for your child. This will result in children learning the fundamental skills and building blocks of Reading and English language learning.
After completing ReadingMate Home School your child will be familiar with 44 phonemes, 135 sight words and know more than 1,000 different sets of words and phrases.
